Statue Pre-Order Terms & Conditions – Dorky Desires

1. Deposits and Cancellations

All pre-order deposits are strictly non-refundable. By placing a pre-order, you agree to this condition.

If full payment has been made and the studio has not yet collected the balance, a refund of the balance amount (excluding the deposit) may be issued upon request. Once the studio has collected the balance, no refunds will be provided for any portion of the payment (deposit, balance, or full amount).

The remaining balance is due upon arrival of the statue at our warehouse. Customers will be notified via email with payment instructions. Failure to pay the balance within the specified timeframe may result in order cancellation without refund.

2. Production Timelines and Delays

Estimated shipping dates are subject to change without notice by the manufacturing studio. Production typically takes 6 to 12 months, but delays may occur due to manufacturing, logistics, or customs processes.

Dorky Desires is not responsible for delays beyond our control. Customers acknowledge that actual delivery times may differ from estimated timelines. We will provide updates where possible and communicate any changes in expected delivery.

3. Shipping and Final Costs

Shipping fees quoted at the time of pre-order are estimates only. The final shipping cost will be communicated via email once the item is ready to ship from the studio or warehouse.

Customers are required to pay the final shipping cost within the timeframe provided. Failure to do so will result in automatic cancellation of the order without refund.

4. Damaged Items and Replacement Policy

We take care to package and ship all items securely; however, we are not liable for damage incurred during shipping.

In some cases, the studio may offer replacement parts for damaged items, but this is not guaranteed. Minor damage such as clean breaks, scratches, or cosmetic imperfections may not qualify for compensation, as they are typically repairable with adhesives.

If an item must be returned to the studio for repair or replacement, the buyer is responsible for all shipping costs to and from the studio, which may include international freight (e.g., to China).

5. Returns

Returns for change of mind are not accepted for pre-order statues. If you believe you are eligible for a return due to exceptional circumstances, please contact us using our contact us page. Return requests are assessed on a case-by-case basis and are not guaranteed.
